THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon Defendant Shenzhen Moulis Electronic Co., Ltd.'s ("Shenzhen") Objection to Extension of the Temporary Restraining Order and Proposed Modification to Temporary Restraining Order (the "Objection"), ECF No. 35. In the Objection, counsel for Shenzhen objects to the Court "sua sponte decid[ing] to extend the duration of the TRO without holding the preliminary injunction hearing" and proposes amendments to the TRO "to ensure that it is properly tailored to the products at issue in this case." The Objection fails to address the limited relief the Court allowed Shenzhen to address. As counsel for Shenzhen should know, at the hearing held on December 16, 2024, the Court addressed a pending Motion for Extension of Temporary Restraining Order, in which Plaintiff requested that the Temporary Restraining Order be extended for an additional fourteen days beyond its natural expiration on December 16, 2024. See ECF No. 27 at 2. The Court granted this motion in part and denied it in part, briefly extending the Temporary Restraining Order in this case for a total of four days to allow Plaintiff to perfect service of process on Defendants, avoid piecemeal disposition of Plaintiff's Motion for Preliminary Injunction, and enable all Defendants to be heard regarding the same. In response, counsel for Shenzhen objected, arguing that the Temporary Restraining Order is too broad and that it was directing third parties to interfere with the sale of products not at issue in this case. In order to address that concern, the Court instructed counsel for Shenzhen to file a notice identifying the specific portions of the Temporary Restraining Order that he believed were too broad and to submit proposed modifications to the Temporary Restraining Order to address the same. Counsel for Shenzhen did not do so in the Objection and instead proposed an entirely separate order directed to non-parties to this case. Accordingly, the Objection is hereby OVERRULED. As set forth in the Court's Paperless Order at ECF No. 36, oral argument on Plaintiff's Motion for Preliminary Injunction, as well as Plaintiff's Motion to Oppose Notice of Entry of Parties, shall proceed on December 20, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. via ZoomGov videoconferencing. The Court convened a hearing on the Motion for Extension on December 16, 2024 (the "Hearing"). Prior to the Hearing, Shenzhen Moulis Electronic Co., Ltd.
